The Alchemistry and trick used by African or Kenyan politicians to double/triple/quadruple their net worth or wealth in short time.

Kenyan politicians often rapidly multiply their net worth through systemic exploitation of public procurement, insider information, and patronage networks rather than formal salaries. Key mechanisms enabling this rapid wealth accumulation include:
Tenderpreneurship and Conflict of Interest
  • Proxy Companies: Politicians register shell companies under the names of relatives, friends, or administrative assistants to discreetly bid for and win lucrative county or national government contracts.
  • Inflated Billing ("Budgeted Corruption"): Costs of public infrastructure projects, supplies, or consultancy services are heavily exaggerated—sometimes several times over market value—with the surplus funneled back as kickbacks to the connected officials.
  • Direct Procurement Loopholes: Bypassing competitive bidding processes through emergency or restricted tendering exceptions, routing awards directly to aligned entities.
Manipulation of Public Resources and State Access
  • Embezzlement of Devolved Funds: Local leaders and county executives frequently exploit conditional grants, development funds (such as CDF), or county payrolls through ghost workers and fictitious allowances.
  • Insider-Driven Speculation: Leveraging advance knowledge of major state infrastructure projects (like new roads, railway lines, or administrative boundaries) to buy up cheap land along the routes ahead of compulsory government acquisition payouts.
  • Tax Evasion and Exemptions: Utilizing political influence to secure duty waivers or evade corporate and personal compliance checks on private business portfolios.
  •  Borrowing bank loans with an intention of not to pay back: The fastest way to doubling or quadrupling wealth by politicians is to borrow huge sums of loans, service it for some time and stop serving it when they lose a parliamentary seat. Some go to the extend of declaring bankruptcy and the audacious ones even forge death certificates.
